Ok, for those looking for a way to]connect Festool's 36mm hose with the Festool's "smaller" tools - all Festool sanders,  1010 router, jigsaws and Domino, take a look at the Dave Ronyak's solution in this thread.

I did the same thing. Here's mine.
The price is $50.00, including shipping. Until I have it set up in my warehouse, with a new skew number, if ordering on-line, just add it to the Comments Section, send me an email or give me a call.

Is there something like this to connect a 26mm hose to a 36mm hose with out changing out the end like the catalog notes?

The Festool Hose Reducer will do what you want, only it is not an antistatic fitting.  The smaller end fits tightly into the tool-end of the D36 hose, while the other end fits onto the Vac-end of another (any size) hose.  It remains a mystery as to why Festool would produce this fitting using a non-antistatic material.

On Edit:  A word of caution:  When I first learned of this here, I attempted to insert the Hose Reducer into the D36's tool-end fitting and didn't think that it would fit.  I checked the info here again before a second try at it.  It did go together for me -- BUT, Brice tried this and his D36 tool-end fitting cracked in the process.  If you decide to order one of these fittings to try, you may want to also order a spare D36 tool-end fitting (Reducing Sleeve) just in case...    [blink]

Hi Bob,

Looked at your website but did not find this.
Are you still providing these?

Thanks
Dave

be - oddly enough  - HOSEADAPTER! ;)

Thanks for your patience.

Bob
