This is from a job that was done back in 2016. It was built/installed as 3 sections, very similar to what I have now. For some reason, a few months after the initial install, they wanted one section removed. They used it that way for the last 7 years. Now they want to add 3 more sections to it? Ok
Yesterday I cut out all of the "shaped" pieces on the CNC machine, cut and installed the ply panels
Today, fitting the outside panels, which I forgot to photograph. Then cutting out and veneering part of the access panels on the inside. The other elevation gets white HPL.
Tomorrow will be the most interesting part. The outside panels are 1 1/2" thick Red Oak "butcherblock" with patterns routed into them.
Plus, I got to throw out my favorite answer "I could tell you, but I'd have to kill you" when someone asked how I do it, referring to the continuous grain on the access panels. Two different people asked.. [smile] It's very different from how it's done with HPL.
