30-Day Return Policy for Gifts

I was thinking about getting my father a drill for Christmas. Is there any way the 30 day return policy could start when he gets the tool instead of when I purchase it?

That's a good question. There's no provision in our 30-day guarantee for gifts. However, you may be able to find a dealer who is willing to work with you.

But, seriously, why would anyone want to return a free Festool drill?  [blink]  [tongue]

I personally don't know why anyone would want to return a Festool tool, but sometimes he surprises me.

I didn't know it was up to the dealer, I thought it was a Festool policy from when the tool was purchased. I shouldn't have too much trouble finding a dealer to work with me. Or I could just buy him one of the drills I don't have then if he doesn't want I can keep it for myself! [laughing]
