36mm x 16foot hose with Plug It cord.

Don't think I have seen any posts about this yet. Saw this yesterday. Any opinons? I know there is an aftermarket connector out there, but it is exciting to see that I can leverage my DF500 in a new way.

So i just added an RTS to my collection of Festool sanders and loved it at first, until i applied stain and saw that its scratching the heck out of my work.

Ive tried using 150 and 220 grit. Ive tried fresh sandpaper, slow passes, various speeds on the sander, and various levels of suction on the vac. Nothing changes this result.

The workpiece is red oak, and im getting the scratches on ply and hardwoord surfaces. You can see the scratching everywhere but its most prominent where i move across the grain to start a new pass.

Anyone experience this? Do i need to return it? And if so, what kind of defect could cause this result?

I was really psyched to start using this for final sanding on everything, especially shaker panels.

Getting ready to dive into the LR32 system and i could use some input. Instead of the $500+ systainer set, can i just buy a guide rail, a 5mm router bit and this?

festools-online.com/583290-festool-hole-drilling-set.html?gclid=CjwKCAjw-bLVBRBMEiwAmKSB89cyQ8e2ndA1lQEiLNRFljQNtOgTC8XpJoKrAcM2OGawyPDRpuVcDRoCijkQAvD_BwE

I have an OF1010 and dont plan to use this for boring doors, just line boring. It seems like that small set has all the stops i need but so hard to tell with the way festool names things.

Im working from a small shop and doing large cabinet projects. Ive always used drilling jigs for line boring but its just so slow and im not happy with the results. I get a little tearout on most of the holes, even when drilling very carfefully. I need clean, repeatable results and this system seems like my best bet, but the systainer set plus guide rail puts me at around $700,  versus $450 for the option i linked above.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi all, just bought the CMS basic, the ts55r plate and a few other things.

Found a spare trigger clip attached to the CMS which isn't listed on the supplied parts. Anyone else seen this before ? It's a 2018 and was ordered from Germany, maybe it's a new addition ?

PS I've got the usual trigger clip that is attached by a festool branded strap, to the ts55r plate.

Not a problem obviously I'm just curious as to why it's there.
