Taking the plunge on a 3M Versaflo - primarily for paint fumes. Anyone have a good vendor to do business with in the US for these? (since Bob Marino does not sell them :) )

I don't need/want the hard hat version, which is all I can seem to find on Amazon.

Looking for the M106 helmet/mask and TR300/315 air unit.

Ideas?

Have you considered this kit?

zoro.com has it and there is a coupon code that should work until Midnight CST 9/9/2015 for 20% off orders over $250.

the code is LABORDAYSALE

Here is the link:    http://www.zoro.com/3m-papr-system-nicd-polycarbonate-gvp-psk2/i/G3679252/

They also seem to carry a bunch of the line.

Right - that is the hard hat version that I don't really want. BUT in doing my research about all the options, that is a very good deal. It comes with a leather belt and spark arrestor pre-filter, so if you don't mind the helmet, that might suit you just fine, or even be more flexible, depending on what kind of work you do.

So what I figured out was that there is only a few "kits" offered by 3M, and if you want something else you need to "mix and match".

That seems to be an older generation setup - nicad batteries and all.....

With the airwareamerica provided link, I was able to find the part # for the unit on Amazon, as well:

TR307N: TR307N

Mask M107: M107

Thanks for all the help, folks - I just could not seem to find the right stuff with my "google-fu" - thanks!  [big grin]

I actually have one of these kits. It's absolutely Amazing for a positive air respirator. I use it when mixing and spraying any types of lacquers or anything with phermeldihyde in it. I will also sometimes use it for a few different 2 part urethanes. I do have a paint booth but sometimes it's just nice to get the extra protection.

I think you still need to add a hose. Order before midnight tonight and use the code for 20% off

Wow - my own personal shopper - never thought I would have one of those...

Never tried Zoro - here goes!

Thanks for the promo code - saved a BUNCH of $ !

zoro.com is a subsidiary of Grainger, so you'll be ok. The main complaint most folks express is that it can be hard to find stuff on their website. Usually their search function is arcane unless you have an exact model number.

Their prices are pretty god on some things and ugh on others. But there is usually some kind of coupon code around that makes them great. The best one is a 30% off that comes up from time to time

Thanks for the tip. I concur - you can't find a thing on their site by "browsing"  ;D

Order has been fulfilled already, which is always a good sign.

Thanks again to everyone for the shopping assistance!
