4 speed pdc drill

Hi I recently purchased the 4 speed quad drill
My question is can I drive 3" lag bolts with it and if so what should the settings be

Yes, you can drive in 3 inch lags with no issues.  I would use speed 1 or 2.

My problem is what are the other settings I plan on using 1 o2 however when I sod all the settings to the rt I start to get a sound as though the drill is overloaded

Speeds 1 and 2 have a lot more torque and will drive in the big screws/lags.  If the drill becomes overloaded it will beep.    If it beeps it's the drill protecting itself,  bump it down to 1 and hold on.
