I was reading your other thread with interest about this and it prompted me to have a clear out.

So, my cast iron Axminster router table auction ends on eBay tonight and I intend to do a very similar thing to this for when I need it. It's been sat in the workshop for the past year gathering dust, makes sense to me to shift it on.

It has made me decide to make a router table though. I have been seriously considering a CMS. but think I will save my money for a kapex

Just not sure what router to put in it wether to get another of1400. Have been looking at Porter cable

If you make a router table, I highly recommend getting the "Chip Guard" that comes with the CMS through Spare Parts Catalog. Dust collection doesn't get any better than this, and it's only $30 worth in parts!
