I was curious on the condition folks are receiving their systainers in.  I got a bunch, my Systainer 3s and 1s look unused and new, but the Systainer 2s and 4 I received clearly looked like used stock (marks on the case) and they look like they were pulls from ones that had tools in them (the usual white foam glued to the lid that in some cases look like it was just half ripped off).  I guess I was expecting new stock (just discontinued) as the noticed didn't seem to indicate that this was used stock.  Most of the stuff is minor and could probably be cleaned up (haven't tried yet), I was just curious what condition other folks were getting their systainers in.

I haven't gotten any of my stuff yet, so I can't answer for you but I can say that they mine better be NEW since they were sold as new?!

That said, I would contact them and let them know your concerns. I doubt they intentionally shipped used product as new, but it wouldn't shock me if they had a warehouse/shipping person who just grabbed something that fit the description and boxed it up.

Give 'em a chance to make it right, and be sure to post back here with the results.

I do not see any mention of the sale on the Woodcraft website.  It is after 12:00 Eastern time. Did he get it wrong or is it another time zone or are they running late?

Just went onto the Woodcraft.com web site and saw that the systainers are listed but not for 50% off.

Did this 50% off sale apply to Woodcraft or just Woodworkers Club?

All my stuff " I got one order from them already and it was great. the sustainer was new and looked new also my sand paper was new sealed as well.

I got my order very quickly and well packaged. The two items I received (Sys IV and Domino Assortment) were brand new.

Only classic sustainers, some abrasives and nozzle holder, saw stop and a 7 m hose are included. Original announcement made it sound like 20% of everything would be included. I lost a lot of sleep trying to score some deals I missed the first round.

Woodcraft Customer Service also did not know about the sale at all until about 9:15 a.m. Initial espouse was to say that there was no sale.

I have supported my local Woodcrafts with a lot of business, but this mess does nothing to give me the warm and fuzzes about Woodcraft in general.

Are these new or used? The ones I just purchased from woodcraft look a little abused. Mine have a few dings, sawdust and stickers half way off.

I got an LR32 set from the Salt Lake City Woodcraft.  The front of the systainer is yellow.  For the price, I don't care.  Hopefully, a little SoftScrub with Bleach will get rid of it.  The actual parts inside look new, including the cutters.
