I have one of these...

http://www.festoolusa.com/products/d...4m-452890.html

Unlike the picture, however, mine didn't ship with the rubber reducer on the end. The hose is 14 feet long (4 meters) and each end has a rigid 2" male connector which plugs into any standard shop vac. Great for a router table or small tablesaw with a standard-sized shop vac/dust collection port.

A Festool coupler is also included so this hose can be connected to any Festool or non-Festool hose to make it longer (you'll be adding 14 more feet to any of your existing hoses). The hose is in perfect condition, just too big for my needs.

Selling for $120 cash or will trade for a 27mm x 5m Festool hose like this one....

I would trade you for my d27 but It is the one that comes with the vac... I don't think it is as long as the one you showed.

No thanks.

I already have that one and it's not long enough.  I'm doing paint prep on the outside of my house and need the longest 27mm available, which according to the Festool website is 5 meters.

Jason,

When you add your d27 to the d50,  is it just too long for you or is the d50 too heavy going up a ladder?  Also how is the suction at the end.  I was going to use that combination on my wall mounted boom arm when I make it.

Suction is fine.  Just too heavy.

Jason, a few years back I talked to a painter on a jobsite about festool stuff (I just picked up my kapex set then).
He told me bought a really expensive 8m long hose, but it didn't work the way he wanted. So I guess there's a reason that the 5m is the maximum standard length for the 27mm hose (the 36mm goes to 7m), but you can order the 27mm any length you want (at least in Europe, articlenumber 452384 is for a order by the m 27mm as hose)

8 meters would definitely be too heavy up on a ladder.  5 meters should be fine (if the hose is 27mm in diameter).

I got the 36 to attach to my 27 for working off a boom or ladder with my sanders on the outside of my house and many others.

That set up has been working really go for me.

Sorry, I dont need a 50 mm hose.
