Can't afford/justify the cost of Festool miter saw stand setup at the moment, can't find a Sawhelper stand anywhere out there to purchase used, don't like any other commercially available stand, so made my own based upon this article: http://www.thisiscarpentry.com/2010/06/18/wooden-miter-saw-stand/ Invested $40 on a sheet of birch plywood, about $20 on various hardware, dimensional lumber was leftover/scrap yellow birch from other projects, and a day of my time.
