600Kg's of pre-glued edge banding in Melbourne

Some silly Ebaying has me in a complicated position. I thought I was bidding on a few rolls of edge banding, but it seems it was a lot more ...

Freight is going to be 5X what it cost me ...

... anyone with a suggestion / option out there ??

PS. I'm very honest - so I'll be paying for it regardless, I bid and I won [sad]

That's a BIG error, Kev. [eek] Did you think it was 600 metres? You must've got it fairly cheap, though. How many metres in a kg? [unsure]

My goal, as repeatedly stated, has been to buy and equip myself with "Lifelong" tools.

Apparently, YOURS is to buy and equip yourself with a "Lifelong" supply of edge banding!! [big grin]

Unfortunately edge banding is worth less than the shipping.

I scored the entire load for $100, but it'll cost over $400 to move one state.

Lot of it is green too ... and not a good green [unsure]

Don't know about distances down-under but for $400 you could drive some ways to pick it up... Next state doesn't sound too far from over the pond.
