I am planning to build an MFT table with 80/20  as side channels  to attached MFT accessories such as Rail Guide support.

I am not familiar with 80/20 , will the rail guide support  fit into 80/20 channels?

While I'm sure many know the answer in yes/no, I do not. Post a drawing of the profile in question so we can get our heads into it without having to track it down.

I hate to say this, however here I go. Contact 80/20 and request their catalogs. They are full of technical data, as well as their web page. Festool diagrams are available as well. The knowledge you pick up will serve you well in your design phase. There is a wonderful world of 80/20 components. Understanding their products will help you design a better table. It may change the manner in in which you build and may affect your design itself.

I think you would need the 15 series which are the 1.5" profiles. I've worked with both 10 and 15 series and love them both!

I checked the Profile of MFT side rail- Part Festool 472863 MFT/3 Long Side Aluminum Track and compare to all 80/20 profiles and I do not see any match. MFT track is open on fron to accept the Mitre gauge, rail bracket etc.

Here is Festool 472863 MFT/3 Long Side Aluminum Profile

I'm no expert on 80/20 track.  However, unless you are attempting to build an MFT that will interface with another Festool table, do you need to match the Festool profile? It appeared to me when I researched it recently that you can build whatever size or shape MFT type table with 80/20. Maybe a call to the company's Support Department would be helpful to resolve your questions.

I have an opportunity to buy all MFT Accessories as rail, rail brackets, Fence Rail,Mitre gauge, etc without MFT table. This will save me lot of time compare to making my own. Before I buy I want to make sure that they will fit on 80/20 profile.
Festool also sale these brackets which will cost $ 252.00 . If I go to this route, I am not saving.  I still have to buy the top and other parts to make the table. which will be higher than buying MFT/3  as set for $ 720.00

One of the reason I am interested in making the  MFT is so I can build a larger table 48" X 36"  compare to MFT/3 size of 46" X 30"

So far I have not found a 80/20 profile that will match the MFT profile.
