Turning the top of the MFT part over makes the parallel guides with extensions easy to use as the piece cut off and the extensions are both supported by the table.
Despite its ridiculous weight (over 80 kg) I can turn it over by myself by standing it up on its side then carefully lowering it down on its other side.
