You will see the 90 Year logo around a lot through the Summer. Also keep a watch on the web link above for the CXS 90 Year edition specials [cool]

Surprised there was no mention of the Domino system on the promotional web page, I would have thought that was more innovative than the TS55 (good though it is)?

Good point - It is mainly to show that Festool has a history and a lot of innovation i guess they could of just shown a guide rail!!
I think the picture of the assembly line is great - very similiar now in fact but more machines.

Frankly, I'm finding it difficult to understand why Festool has not brought the 90th Anniversary celebration stuff to the USA and Canada.  Personally, I feel dissed, as I'm sure my compatriots are as well!  We are a VERY large part of the Festool marketplace, and it's bad enough that there are all the NAINA items that we can't obtain, but this is disturbing...and I am NOT trying to be facetious. [mad]  This is a big deal for Festool, and NA is apparently being totally ignored.

This SHOULD be a worldwide opportunity, and there are a LOT of people, like me, who have taken the Festool System as a standard, and sell the idea to our friends and colleagues.  It is a classic boner not to include us into these kind of celebratory things.

Tired of reading about it.  Have fun Euro's.... once again we in NA are at the end of the line with the Germans. Pffft!

I'll leave any response to Brent... [wink]

I'd rather hear some justification from GERMANY! It's about time they come on here and explain some of their policies instead of leaving it to Festool USA to try and make excuses for them.

I'm happy to say that North Ameriaca will not miss out on this opertunity.  I do not have all the details at this time, but stay tuned for more information ;D

Frank you do realize we've literally only just got 90 year celebration stuff here. Give em a chance mate!

Frank,

I've already seen images of tools with the 90 year logo on the t's out in the wild here in NA if that will make you feel better.

So I stop at the Starbucks on the way home this afternoon, and while I'm waiting in a long line for my frapuccino, I pull out my phone and start checking the FOG to pass the time.  I push randomly at the screen and next thing I know I'm laughing loud enough for everyone to turn around and look at me.  I had ended up on this thread reading Frank's apoplectic diatribe:  "I'm SERIOUS, you guys...Germany MUST account for itself... rant, rant...Warum willst du nicht die 90 Jahre CSX Bohren nach America zu bringen?".  I'm picturing him with fist up in the air going: "we will NOT be ignored--Ich bin ein Festooler!..."

Frank, I truly hope you win one of these limited edition gizmos.  Then on your next high school shop project where you list the tools you used, you can put:  CSX, limited edition, (did I mention it is SIGNED?); and of course it's NAAEIMS (Not Available Anywhere Except In My Shop)

What can I say...I find great humor in the manic obsession some exhibit about this brand.

It's one thing to laugh at an obsession, but it's a whole 'nother level when you say something like that.  [mad]

It does! Thanks!

I want to get a CXS 90 Anniv for myself somehow so that I can gift my soon-to-be eight year old son my current CXS for Xmas!  He's totally into "helping" me with my projects...and has become a Master Screwer!! [big grin]

Cheers,
Frank
