$99 - DEWALT XTREME 12V MAX Impact Wrench, Cordless Kit, 3/8-Inch (DCF902F2)

I bought a 8 or 9 piece Dewalt 14.4v set of tools many years ago.  I really only use the reciprocating saw, circular saw, and angle grinder and even these don't see much use. 

More recently I bought a Milwaukee Fuel M12 1/4" Impact Driver and M12 drill.  The 1/4" M12 Impact Driver is my primarily used tool and has tons of power for such a small tool.  I had a Milwaukee M18 1/2" Impact Wrench but sold it as I only used it for lug nuts and removing a stubborn flywheel nut on a motorcycle engine.

While this 12v Dewalt Impact Wrench cannot consistently remove lug nuts, at least that's what I'm reading in the reviews, it's sure hard to pass up an entire kit with extra battery for $99!!

Would you jump on this deal even if you're not into the Dewalt 12v tool line?

Sounds like my story to a T. I own that little fuel M12 1/4" impact and it's wonderful. I bought the same high torque 1/2" M18 for removing the final drive nut on my motorcycle.

I saw that DeWalt deal. It's a really good deal I just don't want to add another platform. When I bought into my milwaukee kit at the time they were king of the 12v. DeWalt in recent years sure has caught up though if not surpassed with the quality of their offerings.

Very funny on the similarities there!  Some say they don't like the ergonomics of the M12 tools but I absolutely love the 1/4" impact driver ... it's light, had the power to frame out almost an entire basement on a single charge, and yet on low mode can be used to fasten things gently.  I considered the M12 ratchet but my air ratchet is slow so I just use the impact driver which zips them off real quick.

I'm with you on not wanting to get into several platforms but hard to pass up since the M12 Stubby 3/8" Impact Wrench (Tool Only) is $160!!

I have the M12 ratchet too. It's nice.

Any impact duties I handle with the M18 on low mode if needed. I think it limits to 100ft-lb or so. Although I guess I have a TID 18 in my arsenal now. It's good to have options.
