A box for the boffins

Hi all,
Just another box, made of Jarrah and with an insert of book matched highly figured Red Gum. These pictures were taken before any wax or other finish was applied. Just oil and sanding.
This box is going to Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston MASS., where it will be used for holding manuscripts and articles related to Leukaemia and Stem cell research.

Beautiful Rob. I think that's my favorite box so far.

I was doing a TVC last week and working as part of the Motion Control team. Of course that means you'll get S#!t from the grips (who I know). One of them called us boffins, a term I'd never once heard. So I asked him what it meant and he said, "effing computer wankers". Which made me laugh, as I was really just a well paid grip that day, touching control cables was as close as I got to being a brainiac.
