Howdy everyone!

I haven’t posted any projects for a while so I thought I’d show off the last two Maloof style rockers and big large credenza Ive recently finished.

Instead of numbering my chairs I name them so one is out of lacewood and walnut (Andrew), and the other is out of curly cherry and walnut (Eleanor). Both are cut from the same shop made templates so they are very similar in shape. I’ve started refining the design quite a bit over the past couple months so these are more elegant than my previous chairs. I also changed the shaping process in attempt to speed things up. I now use a 5" Makita grinder, an RAS, OF1010 with a  round over bit, some Auriou Rasps, and my RO90. Im calling the refinement a success (the last chair took me 3 days to build). Finished with 3 coats of Maloof oil and 1 Festool Surfix.

The credenza is made from Birdseye Maple and Curly Cherry. I used my domino xl to join the base. each leg has 2 50mm dominoes and 2 100 mm dominos. I also pattern routed it with my OF 2200. The case is joined with dominos that are screwed and plugged. all of the hardware is Blumotion stuff so it closes super soft.

hope y'all enjoy!
