Here's what it looks like off the Domino. The dados allow the fence to be moved up and down to allow a shallow plunge on the face of material as thin as 5/16" .  It will allow you to make a mortise centered on the edge of material as thin as 5/16" as well. Not much to this project but hundreds of uses. I think that's the beauty of this jig. Made from scraps, don't have to leave to get it made, can be built in minutes and many, many variations can be built to suit specific applications. Now if Festool can make one for us we'll be in tall cotton. ;D BTW, it was put together with 2 Dominos as well. ;D
