A couple questions about my new MFT/3

Got 15% off on ebay and couldn't resist. Got a couple questions.

1) There are two places on each end to attach the legs.  One set is attached to the inside place and the other set to the outside.  Is there a good reason for that?  I would think both would be the same.

2) Attaching the track to the support is really clumsy. It appears that you have to get a allen wrench into a really awkward place.  Is there a better method I am overlooking?

The legs are that way so they can fold/lap over each other.

Use the wrench from the track saws. Not a simple process the first time, but you'll figure it out.

There are a number of YouTube videos online about MFT setup that, once watched, will probably give you answers. Seeing a video is most likely the best way to demonstrate that rather than trying describe it. There are some really good ones out there from Festool. I think there is a 3-parter that goes over the setup and square-up steps, but there are others that will also provide guidance. Looking at YouTube videos was how I learned about the variety of ways people setup and use the MFT. They helped me fit it into the way I do things.
