A hard week

Yes HPL sprayed on.
9pm Monday night we didn't line 1 piece up properly on the double curved front ended up wasting an hour taking it back off which we could have done without.
The display should be in Vienna sometime today ready  for the exhibition company to fit.
Nice to be home early!

Most of them in the skip apparently.
I know the company doing the exhibition had 3 artic loads of equipment going yesterday so I imagine all the exhibitions that take place there would be huge amounts of room to be set asside, and someone somewhere would have to pay for storage

Is that the contact adhesive sprayed on?

Yes contact is sprayed on and my [embarassed] mistake low pressure not high you can just see bottle in the background of the 1 picture in the doorway

No never would be good for flat boards but not sure about curved stuff especially 1 off jobs like these counters as the 2 in the photos are totally different shapes.

Our original spray gun broke so managed to borrow one from another company that afternoon, not sure what make there's was but sprayed so much nicer than ours couldn't find any name on it.
Do you do a lot of laminating?

Ya I have done a huge amount of it in the years gone by. It's an awful slow process filing the edges etc. Noting worse when it goes off track on you and you cant do anything but heat it off :-(

It makes some mess of the floor spraying it doesn't it.

Yep floor and when you miss anything  else in its path, could of done without that front sheet wandering off that's for sure.
I was tring to find something that could do away with the filing Betterley do a file router I think it was called not sure if it wouls be any good.
Did consider buying the mfk700 but not sure it would of helped any more apart from extraction as never used 1

Ya it's messy alright. I made curved tables to hold tablets before. 16 of them and the were shaped like a kidney. 6m of laminate to totally wrap each one. I back beveled where the two sheets met, laid them out flat facing up and taped the joint together. Held my breath and worked it around. I left 100mm each way in the height just incase it started to wonder.
