I had a nice stack of boxes from Japan Woodworker sitting on the porch when I got home yesterday...

It had been two months since I placed my order, that I had to get my spreadsheet to remember what they were all for. As usual, JW packed them
so well I had trouble removing them from the boxes. The only that went wrong is that I *thought* they had agreed to swap the stock blue latches
for orange ones to save me having to buy (and discard) an extra set of latches. Instead they just sent me the latches in one of the systainers. I haven't
figured out yet if they actually charged me for the second set.

What to do with 12 blue T-Loc latches?

Once populated, these will hold all my non-Festool tools that have been in odd shaped blow-formed cases that don't stack or store well. One of the T-Locs 1's is now holding my parallel guides extensions.

They must have just received a shipment.  I too received my backorded orange latch from JW yesterday.

cnewport,

Have you made the Fein T-Lock Labels yourself?
I think they are based on the Festool ones.
Can you share them with the FOG and place them as attachement?

I'm feeling slow here...what's the deal with orange latches vs the normal green?

It's been shown to attract 17% more women than the green latches.  Keep that in mind the next time you're going out clubbing.  It's also been shown to attract an additional 48% when you place a puppy or kitten in a orange latched systainer, open lid.

[big grin] [thumbs up]

And repel 100% when the lid is closed but a tail is sticking out... [jawdrop]

Don't like the blue.

The Tanos ones come with blue latches. Only Festool rebranded ones have green.

So I wanted to differentiate between my own tools and the Festool ones. When we came back here, my mom had so much blue - even the carpet was dark navy blue! - that my wife and I have an aversion to it now!

So I got orange , since our local school colors are orange and grey.

Here is the multimaster label set I made.  Also added the grinder and drill labels I made for my classic systainers.

Thanks cnewport,

That saves some time to design them myself.
Just changing machine types and print them.

BTW.
What software did you use to make them?
