A power cord delete option for tool purchases...

Most everyone that buys a Festool tool usually buys more.  The CTs are the heart of the system and most of us keep a Plug-It cord attached to the CT all the time and swap only the tools-not the cords.  I've got three or four cords never uncoiled hanging on the wall in my shop.  I would like to see an option of deleting the cord (and cutting a few bucks off the price) when purchasing a new tool.

I purchased extra cords....so that I could always keep a cord in each tool systainer.  If I grab a tool quickly to take somewhere I don't have to worry about having a cord or not  8).

I've got many extras, but I don't know that I'd buy a tool without one. What about resale? Whoever buys my old tools are getting brand new unused cords :D

Forgetting the cord can be a costly mistake, I showed up on site once, with five Festools and not a single cord! I take them out of the systainers to gain room. Now I keep a spare in the CT33 compartment.
Last week I forgot the guide rails :o  that was a lesson learned! doh

Oh, right --- like you are going to be selling any Festools any time soon.  :o

But all seriousness aside, might need another Systainer to store all those cords.  Er, no, not really a good idea either.

Well I figure the tool is good for five to ten years, but a new model could come out in that time. So, recoup 80 percent or better of the value and upgrade. I got it aaaaallllll planned out.

doh is a understatement- I kept a spare rotating adapter, a fresh filter bag and 15 amp pigtail adapter in my ct 33 only to forget they were there.  then having to drive back to the shop to get the adapter only to find out  my helper had left  it at the last job site and then going there to get it , then back to the job site rather flustered. when  I got back the helper said he found a spare one in the ct and even changed the filter bag out courtesy too.
double dohhhhhhh!!!!!!
we all have our moments, thats what keeps us laughing, I laughed the next day on that one thou!

Yup, I've got a Systainer full of them. And yes, I've arrived on site without a power cord!  What can I say?....

I'm hoping to not show up cordless, so I've scattered them around in the various systainers...

I keep forgetting my wooden head but fortunately it's connected by means of a piece of string and it turns up shortly after I arrive. Never forgotten a cord though....must be superior!

Isn't that where they were originally?  :)

Boy, maybe Festool is on to something, putting a cord with all the tools they sell. ;) ;D :)

;D Yeah, but the jigsaw and Ro150 cords expanded after the first time I took them out, and now they never seem to fit back in there ;D
