A quick project that I did last weekend

I carved this out on my CNC the night before, and thanks to all my festool tools, I was able to complete it the next day in my house.  It's a donation for a raffle to raise money for Theraputic Horse riding (or something like that!).  The top is Black Walnut - The legs were scrap oak and poplar.  I used the track saw to cut the legs to shape - and the domino to put it all together.  I brushed the black paint on, and sprayed the clear coat.  The horse is epoxy that I tinted black.

Really cool.
One more type of project on the list. That is, "the list of things I could do if I had a CNC" =)

Thanks!  I should add that I sanded the epoxy flush with the RO90, and sanded between coats with the RO125 @ 400 grit.  I used Vermont Natural Coatings which dries super fast which helped me get it done so fast.

Nice.

I think if I had a CNC I would have so many projects going through my head I'd either never get started or get so many started I'd never finish any of them.

In other words, I WANT one!

Wow... Thank you.  By the way, that's my 4 year old Daughter helping me with the epoxy... She also likes to set the dominos in the holes too.

I was gonna mention that you had an enthusiastic helper there. Of course, little girls and horses go together like ... well, Festool and wood?

Cute projects, both of 'em (the horse and the kid!)
