This is the shoes cabinet I have made for my wife. It is 230 cm high, 80cm wide and 30 cm deep. Made in mdf, finished in black and red with a patin and ral 9001 on the interior. Has led light on each shelve.

The bad new was that when I finished the installation I went to the kitchen to have a coffe and heard my wife saying " Very nice darling, but make me another one for my boots and another one for my bags "  [eek]

LOL, I guess you learned the hard way that the two things wives never have enough of are shoe cabinets and closets!  [scared]

You do some beautiful work!  Thank you for sharing the pictures.

And,  [welcome]  to the FOG!

Now that does look smart !! the black surround frames the doors really well [emoji6]

Nice! After the argument that my wife and I had last week about her Mt. Everest of shoes, I might need to steal this idea!

Thanks to all of you for your replays.
Tyler, it is not a steal, it is inspiration. ( sorry for my English ).

Right... my first thought was, where's the other five cabs?

Yeah, kinda my thought.  I counted and I'd need a half dozen your cabinets for my wife's shoe pile and a new room for the cabinets.  Maybe I'll just build one to prove a point.

(Serious) thanks for the inspiration.  Fantastic work.

Nice work.  I like the Asian echoes with the coloring and handle shapes.

What did you use for the interior lighting?

I used led strips. A 5 meters unit that can be cut easily with a scissors. I putted them on each shelve and connect them from the top to the bottom, and the last one to the power. Everything bought at eBay.

Nice job that [big grin]

This may be a stupid question but what hinges did you use on the doors?
