For the past few months, our Lebanon, Indiana office and training facility have been undergoing a big expansion. The training facility will open later this week, so I thought y'all would enjoy a preview. Here are a few shots. Things aren't fully done yet, so I'll add more (including the outside of the building and the training classroom) later this week.

Enjoy. We're excited for many of you to see it in person -- either at training classes or at Festool Connect!

Thanks for the update [member=57769]TylerC[/member] And thanks too for being such a regular presence on the FOG.

I spy a sys4/ sort3 on that wall...actually 2 of them. Are they coming?

TylerC,
Do you happen to know what kind of lighting is used in that facility? I'm going to move to another shop and am looking to find some better lighting then the old fluorescent type.

I'm not sure what they used, take a look at these. (the software here will not allow me to post the name).

They also make a high bay light.

It looks just like my shop,

Only much larger,

Brighter lighting

More tools,

Cleaner

More modern

Yup just like it

Nicer floor,

No cables in the deck

No bicycles boxes etc lying about

Yup just like it

No, but I'll see what I can find for you.

Who thought it would be a good idea to stack the systainers 8ft high?  [huh]

We have wheeled stairs. You can barely see see part of it on the far left side of the picture.

Low85es has a LED replacement for florescent ceiling lights - I think the SKU is 595 685,. I am happy with the ones I got.  They cost about $60.  Might be worth a look.

A lot of tools can be stored in a small space. It really works out well for the training classes. At the start of the day, the systainers needed for that days class are taken out. At the end of the day, they are put away.

The systainer wall was used for a room divider in the old training room.

After getting through the pictures, I see they'll send a trial fixture for 60 days. Later will advise the number I need for my area.
At $400 each I may do that.

Thanks again, Great group

Mark
