About That Pro 5 Ltd Again

Do any of the U.S. dealers have a rough idea of when the next batch of Pro 5 Ltd sanders will arrive?

Does the promotional rebate require the second tool to be purchased after the Pro 5 Ltd?  For example:  I purchase the HK 55 EQ in February and the Pro 5 Ltd is delayed until March.  Note that I will not have an invoice or a receipt for the Pro 5 Ltd prior to the day that it is in my hands.

According to our info from Festool, more sanders will be delivered between now and the end of March in waves.

You can use the rebate on any tool purchased between November 2016 and the end of this year. You will need the actual PRO 5 to redeem your rebate.

I got super excited yesterday when I glanced at my phone and saw there was an email from Tool Nut about my order of the Pro 5.  Then I opened it and it was just reminding me of the probable ship date at the end of the month.  Excitement gone.  At least I saw one of the Star Wars Rebels Easter eggs in Rogue One on my second viewing.  Still missed the other one.  Wood working enthusiasts can be nerds, too.  Anyway, did Festool ever have any sort of official statement to the public?  I've only seen Tool Nut and other dealers apologizing and so forth.

I dont know if Festool has made any statement. Seems like theyre keeping quiet about it. I got an email from Toolnut also... march 9. Sigh.

I do not recall seeing any communication from Festool.  As mentioned above, the dealers seem to be bearing the customer reactions.

What currency will the $50 rebate cheques be sent as, US funds or the country you're residing?  I bought mine in Canada but will likely be using it towards a tool bought in the US
