Doesn't Lee Valley have an American operation that bills in USD and ship from the USA?

Yes, but they can not ship any Festool to a US address. If you look at their site, when you click Canada you see Festool, click the USA version and the green tools go away!

Huh.  I always wondered why Lee Valley didn't sell Festool, now I know they do . . . sorta.  Commerce is weird.

It's just their agreement with Festool as a Canadian dealer. Same with a US dealer, they are not supposed to ship to Canada-

I bought my assortment from Bob. I don't think it was a actual offer, but I called him and asked him if he could put one together for me. So all he did was take a insert and a sustainer and put together some common/ most used grits into a assortment.

I think most dealers would do something like that. Call them and axe them.
