Abrasives assortments - dealer recommendation?

My former Festool dealer sold abrasives "bundles", with 10 or 20 sheets of each grit instead of requiring me to purchase full 50/100 boxes of each grit.  Are there are any dealers on here that provide that service?  If so, please speak up.

If you're around Seattle there's a dealer that opens packs and sells them individually.

If you want local, try Woodcraft, they sell a box of 10 each in 80, 120, 180 & 220 for the 90/125/150 sanders for $50.

I'd be very interested in this as well.  Obviously, you can buy smaller packs or 10 but I'd be looking to buy in lots 50-100 sheets at least.  I don't see anything on anyone's website offering an assortment (range of grits in the same paper line)

With pretty much everyone on the FOG buying the $99 Pro-5 sander, hopefully a dealer or two will start offering a better way to buy abrasives.  I'd imagine they'd sell quite a few assortments breaking apart 100-packs and offering a mix to customers.

We've put together two easy starter packs for the PRO 5, one with Rubin for bare wood and one with Granat for just about any sanding application including bare wood. 10 sheets each of P80, P120, and P180.

The Festool Nirvana package looks great. Can't seem to find a similar package for the RO90. If Festool Nirvana is on FOG, would appreciate them posting a link.

Yes, they are, it's for convenience. Festool does not allow discounting, so even the custom assortments sold by some dealers are no cheaper per sheet than a full box, or least that should be the case. If not, let me know.  [wink]
