Anyone know what’s up with Acme Tools?  Website is down and phone lines have a message saying “Due to recent events we are unable to take your call...”

Yep, same thing here. I figured it was on my end as I was trying to place an order , but maybe not if you are getting the same results.

There was something going on with their site last night when I was trying to access it.  Very slow and laggy with more than half the pages timing out.  Now...nothing loads.  I don’t know...maybe give them another day to pay the electric bill?

We've observed the same thing for weeks now.

It’s actually a non-FT purchase I was interested in Shane.  Of course if TN wanted to match Acme’s flash price on a Milwaukee kit, I’d gladly go with the up-and-running website. ;)

I got an order from them last week, then went to order an accessory today and can't get the site to work. Thought it was just me.  [blink]

I did end up speaking to someone and they verified the price on the item I was looking at.  Said website may be back up in an hour or two, otherwise call back before 5pm CST to order.

EDIT:  Up and running now as of 1:15pm PST, was able to place my order.

Sweet!  Just pulled the trigger on the M12 installation driver kit at $209.  Bare tool is down to $159.

Great tool.  You're going to love it.

ACME not working?  [scared]

When I go to acme.com everything appears normal. The license plate maker, the label maker, and all the other bits seem to work just fine.

Or are you referring to a site other than  www.acme.com  which has been around for decades.

Wile E. Coyote buys all his tools exclusively from them. :-)

Now that's just plain fun. Time to adorn the workshop walls with some new "art".

Thanks Bob.
