Hello,
I am trying to add a fence to my MFT. With an extension such as a CMS or a homemade solution, I could have a table saw for long rips.
Ideally I would go for the Incra LS 17" or 25" ... for the precision and repeatability. However, I'm in France and European suppliers have a noticeable markup (+30~45% compared to US prices).
A near futur trip to the US (California) would be a great option but the lead time is just not possible (5~6 wks + 1 wk for delivery) considering I'll be there in 3 weeks and staying 2 weeks.
So ! Despite the disappointment not being able to purchase an Incra LS, I would still like to add a fence to my MFT, maybe with a lead screw to try and replicate Incra's precision and repeatability.
Would you know of any commercial or homemade solution that uses or clamps on the MFT rails ?
I've seen the youtube video from Jers woodshop ... and this is the kind of idea I would find interesting being transposed on the MFT rails (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pudkvHFOfk)
