Hi all. I have 2x1400,1x800 and a new mft with the 1080 rail.

Only ever adjusted my ts55 eq once when I first bought the saw with the original 1400 rail when I first bought the saw and it's glides perfectly on all the other rails. But it's far too tight on the new 1080 rail so have to loosen. Then it's sloppy fit on the other rails!

It's a bit of a pain having to adjust each time I change rails. Is there any way to get round this - how do you all deal with this? Or am I the only one with this problem - perhaps a dodgy MFT rail? If it's the norm I'll just have to get used to adjusting the cams each time  :'(.

Thanks!

I had the same problem with the 106" rail that I bought new. Sent it back and got a replacement that plays well with my other rails. So, I would return and get a replacement.

I have 5 different rails and it seems to fit a little different on all of them so whenever I switch between rails I adjust it. Not a big deal to me just don't like it when I put it on one that is tighter and I have to open it up just to get it on the rail.

Well after the original reply I contacted Nuts and Bolts (powertool-supplies.co.uk) and they offered to send me another rail to try - this is fantastic customer service and really wasn't expecting it.

The new rail is better - still a tighter fit but can get away without having to adjust every time.

But the icing on the cake is I asked about collecting the original rail - they told me to keep it!  [big grin]
