I used Jet Air Filter in my shop in the states and will use it when I get back. What I like about it and should be mandatory on all these air filters is a timer. I run the filter when in the shop and set the timer to run a hour after I shut the shop up closing the door locking it tight.
Does this eliminate the fine dust? No I don't thing you can totally eliminate the fine airborne dust even with festools.
But it can cut it down quite a bit. Also make sure your filters are clean they have a inner and outer filter. If they get clogged then it makes it hard to filter the air.
Oh yea though a lot can not do this based on the configuration of the shop, its best to hang the filter from the ceiling and centre of the shop.
