Is there a Festool extractor available in North America that has an alarm that senses / alerts if the airflow falls below a certain level (e.g. hose blocked, filter clogged etc.)

That feature seems to be or have been offered on some European models (M class? L class?)....

Not at this time. I have no idea if Festool will eventually sell them in North America.

Just to add some context:

I believe this is unlikely as apparently it is not just about the sensor itself needing a different electonics board. There actually needs to be some calibration of it apparenty on a per-unit basis.

I learned this when the electronics board failed on my CTM 36. I was notified that it cannot be "just replaced" as the new unit needs to be calibrated to the specific vac unit to work correctly. Thankfully it was during the warranty coverage. but the point stands. It adds complexity.

I would guess that makes it cost-prohibitive for FUSA until/unless a mandate for this is instituted in the US at least for some jobs.

In Europe the wast majority of the M class (with sensor) customers are commercial - i.e. folks which are legally mandated to have an M-class vac for their employees. Self-employed or hobbyists very rarely splurge those €100 for having the sensor.
I was the weird one out and the dealer clerk was actively trying to talk me out of it ..
