First time I cut perfectly fitting through dovetails. Next, half blinds. First cut was a little loose. Lowered bit slightly (as instructed), boom, perfect second try.
What other dovetail jig can say this? None, that's the answer. Apparently the guy who designed the Lee jigs struck out on his own and tackled the challenges of eliminating many test cuts and ease of use. I'd say he succeeded brilliantly. Unfortunately he may not have the business chops since these jigs are back ordered with no delivery date known. It's a shame. He has a 16" version and a 24" version. I really wanted the 24", but found a deal on the 16" used. I am very happy.
This and my OF 1400 are making quite a team. However, a little hard to see the guides on half blinds with the OF 1400.
