Good Morning.

For those who are looking for some Festool items, there are a bunch on Amazon with Prime Day discounts - some substantial.  I don't remember this happening before, but I could be wrong.

Happy shopping...

Peter

Just be sure not to fall for the fake BeaverTools closeout on Facebook. I do not know if it has been removed yet.

maybe not the best thing to advertise this  [unsure]  lest this avenue gets closed down like overseas ordering was for us becasue everyone started blabbing & bragging about their scores  [crying] [crying]

Interestingly, most of the items set as "Prime Day" deals on Festool items seem to be the same as the long-running closeout list on Hartville's website, although not all products are listed on Amazon from their closeouts.

All things being equal, I'd rather buy direct from Hartville than through Amazon and save them the vig.

Interesting perspective.

I prefer the better shipping/ return policy afforded through big river.

I wouldn’t worry about Festool getting wind of these sales.  They are the seller I believe.

Hartville has three different hoses on discount.  Does anyone know what changed?  Thanks.

The old hoses all appear to be "missing" the new variable-suction ring on the tool end.  If you neither need nor desire that end on the hose, they appear to be a pretty good bargain.

After reading that, I was hoping there were older D36-AS hoses on clearance, but no such luck. Cut mine in two to create a tail for the Kapex to a small wall-mounter DC. Love how that worked out, and I did put new ends on so the remainder is useful albiet kinda short

Scored a great deal on a boom Arm kit with damaged packaging from their eBay outlet today, there’s a second one still available if anyone is looking for one. DM me if you want to know the price it auto approved my offer at.

Thanks for that Ron [member=3192]rvieceli[/member] the CT 22 is 16 years old and still chugging along.

Mine is about the same vintage.  The switch is intermittenly working in auto mode and the bay housing the motor has recently collected clear oil.  It still works at this point.  I initiated a repair order, but I'm on the fence about repairing vs. buying new.  I bought a Midi last year but want a second vac so I can install a boom arm.  The more time I spend in the shop, the more I realize that I would really appreciate having the hose/cord out of the way.

Right now, Amazon has the Festool 576932 Systainer3 Organizer Centrotec on sale for $143.40.

Wow that's actually a great deal, I've been eyeing that set for the very-hard-to-find-otherwise imperial brads!

I suspect any prime deals will be for discontinued items given Festool's no discount policy. And this seems to line up with the theory.

You cost me a few shekels, my friend. LOL That was a really good deal so I just had to click on it once I confirmed they actually include the square drive products.

So pay less, get less clunky hose end  [big grin]

looks like it is down to two hoses now.  Please note one has a 90 degree end, other is straight.

Hartville has the installers sets down to $135, but I already have one. I would pick up an additional one in Metric, but there isn't enough difference in them. For some crazy reason, the Metric set still has fractional sized nut drivers? The only things that really change are the hex keys and ratcheting wrenches, the rest is identical.
They must not have sold well from the beginning though? The original price was $225, I got one a long time ago for $159.
