I came across an app that might be of interest. It applies to both Apple mobile products and also Android.
This app allows users of the iPad to use their's as a telephone, get a second line on their iPhone and act similarly on the Android platform.
I am not going to promote or argue for or against this app or anything about it.
Just thought you might find it interesting and a way to possibly to save a buck or two to spend on an accessory if it works for you.
