angle cut with EQ 75

Hi,
I guess I may be missing something...
When I need to make an angle cut with 75 using the rail - the angled direction of the blade goes 'under' the rail, not outside. That's fine if the cut is not through - lat's say if I only cut an inch depth out of total two inches thick. But if I make the angled cut cutting off the part then what happens is that the part that is cut off is UNDER the rail itself.
So my question is - is there way to make an angled cut so that the cut line goes not under the rail, but outside? Wonder how other people do this...

Thanks and Regards
Anatoliy

Hey Anatoliy

I don't know if I'm the best person to answer this but let me see if I got this right. I hope are talking about the saw :/

Is that what is happening? (Sorry I'm not so great with Paint :) )

If not I think you might be using it the wrong way. The piece you want must always be under the rail thus making the off cut on the outside. I could be completely missing what you are asking though. I use a TS55 EBQ by the way.

Anatoliy, no, you aren't missing anything. There is no way to bevel the saw the other direction with the angle going away from the rail. I guess I don't the problem here because if you want the angle to go the other way just cut the bevel from the bottom side of the piece.

Thanks all who responded.

In my case the part that goes off is in red on this picture

For me I can't do the other side cut, it looks like I have to use another supporting piece on the 'inside' that is under the rail side of the cut so that the cut off piece doesn't fall off and the rail doesn't fall down.

Thanks for the feedback

Anatoliy
