Another issue NAINA tool CMS router module (Solved)

I'm interested in getting the CMS table and router module at some point and notice that on the Festool UK site that it states three routers that are compatible with the setup the OF 1010 OF 1400 and the OF 2000, I have a interest in getting The OF 2200 at some point, and notice package deals offered for it and the CMS table and router module, so I can't understand why there is discrepancy in the usable routers list, anyone use the 2200 in the CMS? One thought about it though is the OF 2000 if it's good enough is much cheaper on the used market here in Denmark so actually dedicating that to the table might be a good idea anyway...

Must be a UK thing. In mainland europe the OF2200 module is readily available for the CMS.

If you really want to be sure of something, don't check the UK or US sites, they have a smaller offering. Always check the German Festool site to be absolutely sure. Link

I have my OF2200 almost permanently in my CMS-OF unit. In my view it is the best combination of a superb router and a very well designed and practical router table....

Bit changes are so easy, dust collection is probably as good as is possible with a router table and it does the job very well.

Thanks for straightning this out Peter and Alex. I'm warming to the idea of the CMS ease of setup and portability so it will probably be a future purchase for me.. Too bad the router module is so expensive on it's own, getting the OF 2200 the CMS and the router module in a package deal is really the only economically sensible way to do it, seems to me..
