Another not so Bright Move

[oops]       Well inattention has gotten me yesterday for sure, as I was cutting 1/4" Rabbits and Dado's with my 10101 Router, and I forgot to tighten the thumb screws on the Guide stop rods and bang I now have to shorten my FS1400 Guide rail by 8". I was really upset with my self for the remainder of the day, but I did become more alert as to what I was doing for sure.
So for me it adds $100.00 to the cost of this project, but I did learn a get lesson and that is just slow down and pay attention

Cutting a bevel last week with my TS55, not putting enough pressure to hold the saw on the track. The saw ended up cutting into the guard rail. I wasn't happy, it just cut about 1/8" out of the center of the rail. And it wrecked my new splinter guard  [unsure] I felt the same way!

i did the exact same thing...turned my splinter gaurd around and have been using it for years

I ran the saw into the fence, now it has a beauty mark, I also ran the saw into the v groove on my MFT. While routing somehow I didnt retract the bit on my ten ten so now I have a groove on the table of my other MFT.

I look at it like this,

It adds character and personalizes them :>D
