I am sure that if they had systainers back then, Germany would have never lost the war.  [tongue]

lol, they kinda did. From the Gerry can to their metal stacking munition boxes. we copied them. The current incarnation is the Zarges boxes. Which I have a love for.

So how does the ultrasonic cleaner fit in there? After all with some 409 it IS the best cleaner.

My do it all cleaning kit just lives in the safe...the rest of the junk lives in a smaller plastic bankers box (Kinda like a Systainer just free). The ultrasonic lives in a cabinet, and gets moved somewhere I am not going to be when in use, as it is LOUD and annoying. Can't have non tool Systainer's running around or I would have to answer to the wife why we lived in a house filled with Systainer's. So we have bins, lots and lots of bins...

I take my guns to the gunsmith for ultrasonic cleaning. Considering I don’t have to pay for the equipment time involved disassemble reassemble it’s pretty reasonable think it’s something like 50 bucks with a two week time from drop off to pick up.
I got one I got to take in soon as it’s very very difficult to reassemble so I haven’t cleaned it in a while but I haven’t shot it in a while but still want to get it cleaned.

You don't need to do a complete disassembly. Field strip toss in ultrasonic, and if you want to rust prof, blow out the parts, change the fluid to a protectant/oiler and run a few more minutes. $50 buys more ammo, but I am cheap. I only ever tear down to make modifications, like changing springs, polishing, etc.

Carrying while working in the forest often leaves my weapon very dusty dirty, and should mamma bear charge it better go BANG to scare her off. Very easy to clean with an ultrasonic. Most folks keep them in a safe and only take them out to play, meaning they won't have the same issues we do.

When you get this in a Sortainer it would be nice to see an actual storage arrangement.

As a side note ..................................  this is bordering on one of those topics that can get into the weeds quickly.

[member=1619]SRSemenza[/member] ; well, for once something that is the reverse of NAINA  [tongue]

I'm loving it.

I recently found out that my helmet with earprotectors and the full face mask with filters fit in a Sys-IV with some space leftover for other things.

But having invested a few hundred bucks in dust extraction accessories and having one chimney demolition canceled, I still didn't use the mask.

Hopefully it will stay on track.
I’ll definately  something when I get enough bits to fill a Sortainer
