Anthony Bourdain RIP

So much sadness in the world.  I am a big fan of Anthony Bourdain.  Such a humble decent man.  Unexplainable what would cause such a seemingly successful man to take his own life.

I’ve been a fan of his for the last 7-8 years. His casual nonchalance was epic. He encouraged people to explore, experience life and go forth. While I may not partake in some of his meals, he stepped out in this big world to find his own drummer. RIP Tony...you Are already missed.
 
RIP Tony - in a television world where quality is not an everyday offering, your work stands out  as exceptional. Let's hope that the end your life marks the beginning of a more serious look at our mental health care approach as a Nation. That would be a most fitting tribute!

It was sad news, I too watched him and enjoy the show and his views.  He will be missed.

Too many people committing suicide.  Sigh...

 
I've watched some of the CNN tributes and its all the sadder. No question this is a terrible loss, but I don't think I'm going to watch any of the past episode for a while, as I would be focusing not on what he's presenting in that episode, but thinking of the suicide, lamenting the loss, shaking my head and asking why.
