The Boss just surprised us this weekend with new iphones.  Gotta love it when the older generation tries to embrace new technology.  Now if I could just get him to start investing in festool instead of using all my hard earned dollars, but I digress...\

For those out there using the iphone, are there any good apps that I should be looking at?  I have looked at a couple for productivity/hour tracking, but what do you guys think/use.

Thanks for you input,

Dan

Hey Shane, I seem to remember you posting somewhere that festool supplies you with iphones. So where is the festool app?

Dan there are many out there.  What are you looking for and I / we can help you spend money 99 cents at a tine!

Dan,

Carpenters Helper is a great tool.   I bought inchCalc+ first and then Carpenters Helper.   I have the Carpenters Helper Pro ($10), but you can try the Lite version for free version first.

I don't have it, but if you do a lot of stair work, BalusterPro is supposed to be excellent for calculating baluster spacing.  Also, BuildCalc looks pretty nice, but I don't have this one either.

Regards,

Dan.

Look at:

Evernote

Timelogger

Whitepages - can help when you need a phone number away from the office

Print n Share - if you ever want to print what is on your iPhone.

I have inchcalc+.  Works for me.

Bento might be helpful.

TWC - The weather channel

I have not gone hog wild buying or getting apps.

I don't know about the iPhone, but I've been working on this idea... It's a Stabila app for "those other phones".

My measures is an awesome app...it allows you to place measurements on photos. Wicked cool app for any purpose of needing to put dimensions on anything!  DocsToGo is great for copying files from your computer for reference on the go. Carpenters helper pro is well worth the $10. Today is a great to do list app. Starbucks app will help find the nearest source of java on the fly!  I could keep goin...
