the company I worked for had very strict start time policy and frequently had meetings that started at 8 AM. At the tail end of every project there was a crunch time phase, so I frequently had to leave the office late.
I'm a project manager in another industry. The skill is highly transferrable. Perhaps you can consider getting a PMP qualification which may open up opportunities closer to home?
