Anyone got a TopRock yet?

I'd really like to hear (pun intended!) what people think of this product.

I have a Bose sound link that goes around in a mini-systainer. Sounds superb but not ideal in a workshop or going mobile. The TopRock could be a solution if the sound is OK.

Got a FT DAB. Which sounds good. Radio + Bluetooth. Run on 18v and ¼ of the size.

I think this one looks cool. But so many Systainers. Not sure.

I think personal opinions are going to be quite varied. I tried a Festool DAB and thought it was so poor I sent it back!

Well they are not b&w 802’s :-d But for some background noise its not bad. Yes. Better alternatives for that price. But they don’t  run on a FT 18v.

LOL

I don't think a lot of people here will understand the B&W reference, but I have a pair of Nautilus 803s as my main speakers.  Certainly not going to use those in the shop though.  [wink]

Yeah, hehe. For sure NOT!  Well, maybe we cand educate a few here (looking for a great speaker) ::) For sure, it could also buy you a LOT of FT for that $$$  [tongue]

Anyway, I love B&W  ;D Not to be confused with BMW  [blink]

How you like your 803's ?

PS: Don't own one a set, just some REF Reference series IV.  But eyeing those 802 since I heard  them. They will definitely make it to my home (some day  [big grin])

Sorry I don’t, all I can say it sounds great even at full volume, no distortion , but that’s my personal view . There will be some who compare it to high end speakers and knock it. Everything is subjective. I’m definitely pleased with mine.

I'd like to know whether in a normal room, it sound like a hi-fi in the corner of the room or like a portable speaker?

Not a posh hi-fi, just one that cost a couple/few hundred £ back when Sony, JVC, & Panasonic filled our living rooms with CD sounds. Is it like that? Or is it like someone just bout a great little bluetooth thingy to the party?
