Anyone in the Tri-State area interested in a Slab run?

Hearing about the excellent and cost effective source for slabs in Central PA recently posted by [member=8712]Richard/RMW[/member] got me thinking about doing a drive out there from NYC and stocking up:

I think what I'll do, since I only have an SUV, is rent a U-Haul trailer and load that up with what I find there.  I don't plan on getting that many, so I will certainly have extra space in the trailer, which leads me to this offer...

I was wondering if anyone in the Tri-State area might be interested in coordinating this with me.  I can foresee several options: 1) Empower me to purchase something on your behalf, and consult with me while I'm on-site through exchange of pictures to see if it's acceptable; 2) Give me a general idea and simply trust me to make a good purchase; 3) Hitch a ride with me out there.

Coordinating the pick-up of the slabs is obviously another issue.  I can certainly hold things at my house until someone wants to come by, or if you are relatively close to where I am (Queens, NY) I could swing by on the way back from the trip, or shuttle it over there in the following days (if you have car issues).

I'm not looking to profit off of this, but I would like to cover costs for transportation and time, so we would maybe work out some sort of mark-up or exchange of funds in advance.

I still have to work out the details with Clayton as to when I would go out there, and I'll also check whether it would be possible to have any of the slabs surfaced on site.

In any case, PM me if you're interested and we can discuss options.

I'm game!  Need a little time to build a shopping list.  Ideally I could meet you on your way back to the city, and save myself a few bridge tolls, but there is a slim chance that would work out.
