I was wondering if anyone has purchased or has tried the Milwaukee SUB-SCANNER M12 Detection Tool (2291-21), which detects studs as well as rebar. I have a lot of great Milwaukee M18 tools, particularly from the Fuel line, but avoided the M12 tools after a bad experience with the M12 Hackzall, which would run out of juice after only a few cuts. The only other M12 I have is the automatic caulk gun, which I'm pretty happy with.
The stud scanner I currently have is not the most precise thing in the world, so I'm wondering if the Milwaukee is worth the upgrade. I would use it almost exclusively for stud finding, and rarely if ever for locating rebar -- though one never knows.
