Good Morning,
I have received some promotional materials from Festool to use in FOG contests.  I'd like to use some of those materials for our next contest.  Specifically, I would like to award limited-edition Festool "Rotex" watches to the winners.

Here's a photo of the watch:

Since the prize is a Rotex, I wanted to have it be themed on something related to the watch.  So the way I'd like to do the contest in April is to have people nominate their favorite posts that have the following themes:

1. Projects that use the Rotex (RO 150 or RO 125) a lot or in special ways.
2. Projects that save time using any Festool tool.

The projects can be nominated from the following three boards:

Just post your nomination here, and I'll add it to the poll for this month's contest.  All the nominations will be collected together.  We'll use the "Dominator" to choose threee winners from the top 10 candidates.  Each of the three winners will receive a Festool Watch, courtesy of Festool and the Festool Owners Group.

We'll run the Dominator on May 1 (or thereabouts).

Thanks again everyone for your ideas in the "Future Contest Concepts" discussion.

SO -- START NOMINATING PROJECTS!

I look forward to seeing the nominations.

Stay in touch,
Matthew

Note:
The Dominator is a device invented by Festool Dealer Bill in Seattle to choose winners in our monthly contests.  The Dominator was first used in the January 2009 Contest.  You can learn more about the Dominator, and see a video of it in action, by checking out our discussion called The Dominator.

Good Morning,
OK, we have one good project nominated so far.  But there are lots of others.

Scan through the forum, find your favorite projects, then nominate them here so we can start building a list.

Stay in touch,
Matthew

Good Morning,
Due to lack of interest, this contest has been closed.  In the future, we'll be moving to a new model for competitions in the FOG.

Thanks,
Matthew
