April sales promotions

I spoke with a Festool sales representative today. He said there will be a sales promotion in April. He said he did not know the details but that an announcement will likely precede the actual beginning of the promotion and to look for an announcement in the not to distant future. Does anyone have information regarding the possible promotions. If not, can you guesstimate based on previous announcements how long in advance of an actual sale are the announcements made.

I am looking to make a significant Festool purchase so any savings would be great.

Based on the height of the original MFT-1080/800, I'd say you are right!!  Ergonomic height was NAINA back then...

Just got back from my local Festool dealer's shop.  Apparently, the April sale promotion is going to be a 10% discount on all TS saws and accessories.  Just in time for the tax man...

This is killing me.  I'm also looking at several Festool items this year.  A promotion offering a discount would be wonderful.  Hopefully, it's not just for items I already own.

I hope that includes the parallel guides.  I have some garage cabinets coming up and they could really fit the bill.

I absolutely love my parallel guides.  I'm no longer using my Sawstop for cutting sheet goods.

Apparently you haven't had the pleasure of meeting Christian O.!  (If I remember correctly, he's at least 6' 6".)  And there are many tall German people.

But I would prefer tools.

Reiterating the OP, how long before the actually promotion does Festool tend to make an announcement?  Please don't tell me that I have to wait the entire month before we find out what will be involved in the spring promotion.
