Are CDD12 FX Ni-Cd batteries still available for purchase?

Came across one of my old (CDD 12 FX BPH 12 C 2.0 Ah) drills in nearly mint condition and hate tossing it.  I have the latest drills, but seems a waste to toss the drill when it could still be a "honey do" drill at home.  Are these batteries available (new) anywhere?  Old threads indicate a rebuild option--and pricey.  Worst case I have useable chucks and a sustainer! There are third party batteries listed eBay and amazon for $40 and $35 respectively. I have no experience with either one
