Good morning,
I'm looking for knock down/assembly screws like IKEA uses so the client can assemble cabinets at home. Would anyone know where I can get them from?

Thanks,
JC

I like the different end cap Lee Valley offers with their KD fasteners:

Last time I needed a couple to replace the lost ones from Ikea I got them from Canadian Tire

JC:
Not sure which connectors you are referring to but if you search for fasteners on the Richelieu site you will find all types. Hafele also sells these. Much better quality than the Ikea ones which are pretty light weight.

Tim,
My goal is to cut and finish the pieces to the small Hockey Storage cabinet, in the other posting, and be able to ship it to a client so they can put it together. I know I don't want to use cross dowels. The cabinets are made with 5/8" ( 14mm) Baltic birch.
Cheers,

The cam fasteners are much easier to position and drill for with the use of a jig. You can make one or buy one but they make setup, off setts etc and drilling holes much easier and faster.
The Knapp fasteners that use the biscuit groove are easier if you have a biscuit cutter but once they are together they cannot be taken apart. If the customer makes a mistake in assembly it's a bit of a problem.
Call if you need some help.

From what I know IKEA uses Hafele hardware. Go to their site and you can find catalogs. Look for mini fix

From my last couple times assembling and using Ikea furniture to "hack" built ins their hardware is not as robust as the Hafele. It is the same style, but not the same material and quality. The shelf supports that Ikea uses in it's Billy bookshelf are unlike any other fixture I have seen. It could be the couple pieces that I came across recently. I think the hardware in their older pieces was better.

What keeps it from pulling out of the other side? (Out of the leg in your picture)

What are these called/Where might I find some? Or is this another mythical NAINA item?

Isn't everything that's NAINA mythical....and magical... [wink]

You may also want to consider threaded inserts,  due to the material thickness you are planning to use.
